How do you put into words the value of a friendship that survived high school, marriages, divorces, single parenting and everything else life dealt us? You can't! Not really. I miss her smile, her larger-than-life heart, the daily phone calls, (everyday at 7pm!) her talent for crafts, her love of children, and most especially the laughter we shared!! My favorite memory? Too many to chose from but one that quickly comes to mind is the time we spent an evening decorating for Christmas. We made up a batch of strawberry Dacquiries, put on the christmas music and sang at the top of our lungs while decorating the front porch of her apartment. Thank heaven the neighbors never called the cops!! The kids were fast asleep and missed the entire thing!
